Sense of Salt | Athens | May 13-30

Australian-born, Athens-based lensman Konstantinos Korsovitis presents “Sense of Salt” astatine o.art.ath Gallery (36 Sporadon), a multimedia accumulation inspired by the writings of Jean Genet. Combining black-and-white analog photography, video installation and soundscape, the task follows a retired sailor haunted by memory, tendency and mortality. Conceived arsenic a visual diary for an unmade film, the accumulation explores identity, masculinity and aging done cinematic imagery and fragmented self-portraiture. The work forms portion of an planetary trilogy extending to Bangkok and Sydney. Admission is free.
