Easter exodus: almost 630,000 cars left Athens

More than 250,000 rider cars near Athens done the two large nationalist highways to the northbound and west of the metropolis connected Thursday and Friday alone, constabulary announced.

Most of these cars – implicit 170,000 – near connected Thursday.

Since past Friday, April 3, when the Easter exodus really began, a total of 629,214 cars near the superior area, up from 616,397 implicit the aforesaid play past year, constabulary said.

Traffic connected the two main highways had lightened considerably by Friday afternoon.
