The benchmark recovered some much ground, chiefly thanks to bluish chips, the bulk of stocks closed with gains, while the banks scale and the mid-caps suffered small losses.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) wide scale closed astatine 2,030.46 points, adding 0.17% to Thursday’s 2,027.04 points. On a weekly ground it conceded 1.56%.
The large-cap FTSE-25 scale expanded 0.22%, ending astatine 5,112.64 points, though mid-caps contracted 0.46%.
The banks scale besides dropped, by 0.16%, owed to National shedding 2.05%, Optima easing 2.01% and Alpha losing 0.53%, while Bank of Cyprus climbed 2.67%, Eurobank fetched 1.27% and Piraeus improved 0.64%.
In total 63 stocks recorded gains, 47 suffered losses and 16 remained unchanged.
Turnover amounted to 464 cardinal euros, up from Thursday’s €182.9 million.
In Nicosia the wide scale of the Cyprus Stock Exchange accrued 0.29% to 289.35 points.
