66 migrants rescued south of Gavdos

The seashore defender has rescued 66 migrants from a vessel astir 14 nautical miles south of Gavdos land disconnected Crete.

The vessel was spotted by Frontex unit cognition and the rescue cognition was coordinated by the Unified Search and Rescue Coordination Center.

According to the seashore guard, the migrants are being transported to Gavdos.
