A total of 145 migrants were rescued successful the past 24 hours successful the oversea country south of the land of Gavdos, adjacent Crete, authorities said.

This morning, a Coast Guard patrol boat, assisted by a drone of Frontex, the EU’s borderline agency, located and rescued 36 overseas nationals connected committee a boat. The rescued were safely transferred to the larboard of Sfakia.

On Monday, successful the aforesaid oversea area, a Frontex vessel, with the assistance of a passing ship, rescued 43 foreigners from a dinghy 8 nautical miles south of Gavdos, who were transferred to the island’s port. Another 66 radical were rescued from a dinghy 14 nautical miles south the aforesaid land and were besides taken to the port.
